Spring Saturday Enrichment Program at The College of William & Mary

The Center for Gifted Education (CFGE) is accepting registrations for the 2018 Spring Saturday Enrichment Program (SEP). The session will be held on Saturdays starting February 24th and ending on March 24th. The Saturday program will be located at the William & Mary Mason School of Business located at 101 Ukrop Way, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

SEP is an academically challenging program with an emphasis on inquiry-based learning for students enrolled in grades K-9. SEP is not meant to supplant the regular school curriculum; rather, it recognizes the importance of allowing able students to explore additional specialized areas of science, mathematics, humanities, and the arts.

The program’s brochure is accessible through the Center’s website at

Jacob L. Adams Annual Donation Drive

The Jacob L. Adams Gators are pleased to announce the kick-off of our annual donation drive to benefit a local organization in our area. Beginning September 15, 2017 and continuing through Friday, November 17, 2017, we will be collecting toilet paper and paper towels for Housing Families First.

Housing Families First enjoys a 16- year track record of successfully assisting families experiencing homelessness move into permanent homes. Their goal is not only to assist families in finding permanent housing, but also to ensure that each family has access to the supportive services necessary to sustain their housing in the long run.

We are asking our Gator families and friends to consider a donation to this drive. There will be a large box in the front hallway of the school (clearly marked for HFF donations) and we ask all who are donating to deposit their items there.

If you would like to know more about Housing Families First, we have provided the link to their web page.

They are on Facebook also. Take a look at their page and click “like”

Questions may be directed to Ms. Sears at 804-226-8745 or via email at
