Dear Gator Family,
Welcome to Jacob L. Adams Elementary School. We are STICKING TOGETHER for another year! Last school year had its challenges, but it also saw lots of rewards, as well. We worked hard to close the learning gaps and meet the emotional needs of our students.
This year, we will continue to focus on improving daily instruction and growing our students through the 3 R’s plus 1: Building RELATIONSHIPS between students, staff, parents and the community that foster a nurturing, safe environment for all; providing academic RIGOR for our students; and RELEVANCE to closing the achievement gap. And REFLECTION, taking a moment to pause and assess what is working for our students and staff and what we can do better.
We know that we have come along way and we still have a way to go but we are up for the task and hope to have all our families’ support. The goal is the success of our young gators, academically, socially and emotionally.
